Exciting news! A recent Zoom update makes it possible to enable live auto-captioning in your Zoom meetings. In order to utilize this new feature you must first enable it in your online Zoom account, and then turn it on prior to the start of your Zoom meeting. This is easy to set up and simple to use. Suggestions for Improving Live Auto-captioning Accuracy
Present from a room with minimal background noise in order to avoid microphone interference.
Allow extra time for your students to read the captions. There may be a 5-10 second delay between the time your captions appear on your screen and when your students finally see them on their Chromebook screens.
