How to creatively insert and use an Emoji!
Inserting an emoji on your phone is super easy to do, but it's not always as easy to use on your computer 💻 and requires some type of app or add-on. Did you know that holding down the "Windows" key (located at the bottom left of your keyboard) and the "period" (.) key at the same time will automatically bring up an emoji keyboard that looks very similar to the one on your phone?! You can just start typing and as you type the emoji choices will appear for you to select! No extra work needed 😁!
Emojis can be used in many ways, here are a few to get you thinking:
Use them in Drive with folders or files to help them stand out and to stay organized!
Add them in Google Classroom Topics! They can help your students easily navigate to the correct assignments, especially students who can't read, your ELL students, and visual learners!
Use them in Slides for lessons
Add them in a Slides or Docs template and have students use the ones you choose for a creative writing story!
