On the 8th day of Tech-mas, my Ed Techs shared with me,
a wordle with what makes me happy.
You can learn a lot about your students through holiday wordles. Have your students create their own wordle (word cloud) at Wordart.com. They can choose any shape that relates to what makes them happy. Within their shape, they can add words contain words of their choosing that represent things what make them happy and or things they are grateful for.
Disclaimer: Please ensure when students are using this tool, they do not sign in to save or share their wordle. This site is NOT an approved site for students to login to. Students will not need to login to save their wordles. To save their wordles, all they need to do is click the download button and save it to their Chromebooks. By default their file will go into their downloads folder which is located in their file folder. They can then share their image with you in Google Classroom.
Creating wordles is an activity students can participate in throughout the year to demonstrate their knowledge of any given topic!
If you have any ideas of how students can use wordles in the classroom, feel free to share them in the comments.
