On the 1st day of Tech-mas, my Ed Techs shared a link
to an add-on that makes my slides blink!
We're kicking off our 12 Days of Tech-mas with a fun twist on a writing project! For this activity, students will write a winter-themed story, poem, essay, etc. Then, they will use a special Google Docs add-on called "Rainbow Maker" to randomly change the colors of each letter of their writing to make them look like Holiday lights. Here's how:
The template is set up with a black background to make the "holiday lights" colors stand out. Use the space in the document to do your winter-themed writing. You can attach this template to a Google Classroom assignment to make a copy for each student.
Stay Techie,
We'd like to thank Eric Curts at Control Alt Achieve for posting this idea, and Alex Forsman for offering the Rainbow Maker Add-on.
Yes! We saw that add-on as well. Students would enjoy it too :)
Thank you. That worked.
Did you see the Magic Rainbow Unicorn Slides that you can do rainbow writing in slides? It's nice as well.
Hello Toni, Try this link to get to the Rainbow Maker Add-on for Google Docs: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/rainbow-maker/ocednkamlohenonmlbemgnibknganijf?utm_source=permalink
I couldn't find the Rainbow Maker when I went to add-ons.
