Hey guys it’s Maria, with this week's EdTech blog. The amazing math intervention teachers and I found a great multiplication math fact program that we had to share with all of you! This program is called Immersion with Facts from Numeracy Consultants! You may be wondering why I am bringing this to your attention when there are so many programs out there. What makes this one a little different is that it is designed to guide students through specific scaffolding of multiple representations to help them develop a deep understanding of multiplication. Not only is this program digital but, it also has hands-on components that you can use in your small groups! What I like about this program is that it offers a range of strategies that emphasize understanding over blind memorization.
Immersion with Facts also accounts for four different levels of learners, making it suitable for use at any tier of RTI or MTSS. From Level 1 for students with no prior knowledge to Level 4 for students sustaining mastery through isolated facts, this program provides a comprehensive and effective tool for you to use in your classrooms.
