On the 8th day of Tech-mas, my EdTechs rocked my socks... with templates for a photo Bento Box!
Do you know what a Bento Box is? How about a Book Bento?!
What is a Bento Box?
“In the 5th century, Japan’s farmers, hunters, and warriors packed their lunches in sacks or boxes and brought them to the fields. The design is derived from a farmer’s seed box, and usually features multiple compartments for different dishes, such as rice, vegetables, and fish.
More recently the Bento Box has transformed to food art and seen a social status. Some parents spend 45 minutes preparing their child’s Bento Box for school.
The same precision and care that a parent puts into making their child’s bento box is now trending with photographing books. #BentoBooks photos are created to invoke the message, theme, and story of the book.
Here is how you can use this concept with your students!
