We just stumbled upon this blog post that includes a FREE template of a daily check-in Google Form! This might come in handy for distance learning...!
Once a copy of the Form has been made, you can customize the questions to fit the needs of your students. Make sure to have the Form collect email address from students upon submission! This can be turned on in the settings of the Form.
